You'll discover the Opal Coast as far as Calais, famous for its belfry and Rodin's statue of the 6 bourgeois. The Opal Coast is a spectacularly vast area where the North Sea and English Channel meet. Explore the coast from Calais to Le Touquet along the road that runs along the seafront, visiting Boulogne sur Mer and its old fortified town, the Basilique Notre Dame and its sea-fishing port, the 1st largest in France.

You'll discover the Baie de Somme, which covers an area of 70km2. It is an area of great ecological and ornithological wealth. The Baie de Somme is a veritable showcase of wild nature, offering a fascinating spectacle of vast stretches of sand. Between Le Crotoy, St Valéry sur Somme and the Marquenterre ornithological park, you're sure to see plenty. You can also take a ride on a small steam train across the Baie de Somme.

Discover the town of Arras, with its belfry and 2 squares, unique in Europe and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It's a theatrical setting, an agora and a unique architectural ensemble, a place for centuries-old markets and incessant strolling. You'll also discover Lewarde, France's largest historic mining center. The Nord-Pas-de-Calais coalfield was also listed by Unesco. You'll be amazed to discover its twin 186m-high slag heaps, the highest in Europe.

St Omer: once upon a time, there was a vast marshland shaped since the Middle Ages, made up of market garden fields surrounded by canals, small islands on which emerge charming little houses, with spectacular flora and fauna. The Audomarois marshes can be explored on foot, by bike or by boat.

You'll visit Le Touquet-Paris-Plage, a chic and elegant resort on the Opal Coast, with its atypical architecture. You'll be charmed by its forests dotted with splendid and original villas, its lively town center and its superb white sand beach and dune paths. You'll then discover the town of Montreuil sur Mer, an old fortified town overlooking the Canche valley, made famous by Victor Hugo and his famous novel Les Misérables. You'll be amazed by the narrow streets with their medieval cobblestones.

Hôtel Neptune (oriqinals hotels), opened in 1990, is a family-run hotel with 72 rooms and 39 fully-equipped apartments for 2 to 8 people.

Ideally located on the seafront, the hotel offers a breathtaking view of the fine sandy beach for which the coast is famous. Just a few meters from the seafront, take a deep breath of invigorating, iodized air!

 For a stay of several nights on a half-board or tour basis, the Hotel Neptune has been welcoming coach operators and travel professionals for many years to discover our beautiful region.

 

Clubs, associations and groups of friends, come and explore the region. In particular, the vacation route (parade of vintage cars from the 60s).

 

Whether you're a club or an individual, we welcome many bikers for the beach cross organized every year in October for motorcycle and quad enthusiasts. And we also receive many groups for the Enduro du Touquet.

 

Cycling enthusiasts are also very welcome. From the Côte d'Opale to the black mountains of the coalfield, the Pas-de-Calais offers a multitude of landscapes along the way.
Whether you're a beginner or a professional cyclist, you'll find different levels of cycling. The Vélomaritime offers 120km of remarkable cycling routes from Berck sur mer to Oye plage, with a thousand possible stops for lounging on a beach, dipping your feet in the water and admiring the sea and dune paths.

 

A specialized hike in our beautiful region will delight even the most experienced walkers. Our region has created a network of walks ranging from 5 to 27km, accessible to the general public and representative of the region's rich cultural and natural heritage.

 

We're surrounded by golf courses close to the hotel to delight golfers. Choose from Le Touquet, Fort Mahon, Hardelot ...
